CMHA’s Mental Health Week

May 04, 2026 - May 10, 2026

Mental Health Week in Canada is a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and explore ways to support mental well-being for ourselves and others. The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) annual campaign highlights practical tools for mental wellness and promotes understanding of mental health challenges. Each year, a new theme invites us to reflect on different aspects of mental health.

Blue Monday

The Third Monday in January

Often referred to as the "saddest day of the year," while there’s no scientific basis behind the label. It is a good reminder to reach out and connect. A simple conversation can brighten someone’s day and yours too. Take time to check in with friends, family, or neighbours. A kind word or shared moment can make a real difference.
