Kawartha Lakes Public Library staff are happy to help with your research needs. Some services are free, while others have associated fees.
Digital Image Reproduction Fees
Order Timelines
Regular orders are completed within 7–14 days. Larger orders may take longer. Rush orders may not always be possible.
Copyright
Not all images in our collection are available for purchase due to copyright restrictions.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to get permission from copyright holders for image reproduction and intended use. The library cannot sell images without copyright approval from the rights holder.
File Formats & Delivery
Orders are provided as digital files, either:
- via Google Drive, or
- on a CD (JPEG or TIFF format).
Payment
- Orders are payable upon pick-up.
- Google Drive orders or shipped CDs must be prepaid in full.
- Prices include HST.
- Payment options: cash or cheque.
- Credit cards accepted for totals of $10.00 or more.
- Debit and eTransfers are not accepted.

Rush Order Fees
There are additional fees for rush orders. We ask for two business days and they can only be picked up in person or sent through Google Drive.
