Check out Creativebug and unleash your creative side with unlimited access to over 1000+ video arts and crafts tutorials led by recognized design experts and artists. New videos released every day for knitting, crochet, art and design, paper craft, sewing, quilting, jewelry, kids activities, food and home, and holidays and parties. Videos never expire so you can start and stop projects at your own pace.

You will need your library card and an email address to access this resource. After you have logged in once, you can log in through the library's link or visit the Creativebug website.

G1.ca - Free Practice Driving Tests

Prepare for the written portion of your G1 driving exam with practice tests from G1.ca.

  • NOTE: This is NOT an official G1 test website, please visit the Ministry of Transport website for more information about licenses and driving tests.
Gale Courses 
Access Gale Courses and choose from hundreds of instructor-led online courses focused on professional development, technology skills, and personal enrichment. Courses are six weeks long and are taught by college instructors and experts in the field. Courses start on the third Wednesday of every month. You will need your library card and an email address to access this resource. For help, visit the help using Digital Library page.
GCF Learn Free
Visit the GCF Learn Free website and get help with math, reading and technology using the free lessons. Practice your typing and using a mouse with their free tutorials.

Kanopy

Access Kanopy and discover a collection of classic and informative movies and television collections for all ages: The Great Courses! These courses, made in easily consumable video documentary formats. You will need your library card and library PIN number to access this resource. For help, visit our help with Digital Library page.

You have a limit of five borrowed videos per month. This resets on the 1st of each month.

Kanopy is available online, via mobile apps for phones and tablets (see below) or can be watched directly through smart TV services such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung Smart TV, Roku, Telestra TV, and Chromecast.

Khan Academy

Visit the Khan Academy, a non-profit organization that provides free online materials and resources to support personalized education for people of all ages. Find courses on art history, math, computer programming, as well as college prep tests like the SAT. 
Mango Languages

Access Mango Languages and immerse yourself in a new language with their interactive tools. Learn practical conversation skills for the world's most popular languages including: French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, English ESL and many more.

Mango Languages - Little Pim

Access Little Pim for an easy and fun way for the youngest learners (ages 0-6) to gain the building blocks of another language.  Children learn basic vocabulary that relates to their daily life, with themes such as mealtime, playtime, and morning routines.

Pinnguaq Learning
Visit Pinnguaq Learning and teach yourself computer basics using the 100 free modules on offer created by the Lindsay-based Pinnguaq Association.
Tech Boomers
Visit Tech Boomers and access educational tutorials designed for inexperienced internet users and older adults. This is a great place to start if you want to learn how to use services like Facebook, Amazon, Gmail and many more.
