Community Passes
Kawartha Lakes Public Library, in partnership with a variety of community partners, provides free family passes to local cultural, educational and recreational facilities in and around the City of Kawartha Lakes. Place a hold on the pass of your choice by using the online catalogue.

This is a Family Swim Pass for up to 2 adults and 4 children.

This is a Family Swim Pass for up to 2 adults and 4 children.

This is a Family Skate Pass for up to 2 adults and 4 children.
Know Before You Go:
- The loan period is one week. Passes are renewable as long as there are no other holds.
- Passes may be used multiple times during the loan period.
- Once you've placed a hold, you can pick up and return Community Passes at any library branch. Staff will notify you when your pass is ready for pick up.
- If you lose a pass, there will be a replacement fee of $20 and the pass will no longer be valid.
- Passes are valid for general admission only, not for special events.
- Don't forget to take your pass with you when you visit!
- Admission details vary from attraction to attraction. Be sure to check how many people or vehicles your pass allows you prior to visiting the attraction. If you have additional people/vehicles beyond what the pass offers, regular admission fees will apply.

Museum and More Passes
Kawartha Lakes Public Library offers free passes to museums through our Library of Things collection. These passes provide access to educational experiences at partner museums. Place a hold on the pass of your choice by using the online catalogue.

The Canadian Canoe Museum
Peterborough
This pass gives you free access for up to 2 adults and 4 youth (ages 5-17). Additional fees apply for Canoe and kayak rentals, artisan studio and workshops.
Kawartha Lakes Museum and Archives

This pass gives you free access for a family: up to 2 adults and 4 children.
Kawartha Settlers' Village
Bobcaygeon
This pass gives you free access for a family: up to 2 adults and 4 children.
Only available between May 1 to September 30.
Lang Pioneer Village Museum
Keene
This pass gives you free access for a family: up to 2 adults and 4 children.
Excludes entry to premium-priced events.
Only available between May 1 to September 30.
Royal Ontario Museum
TORONTO
This pass admits up to 4 visitors during regular public hours. Children ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Valid for general admission only.
Toronto Zoo
TORONTO
Includes entry for 2 adults and up to 4 children (ages 3-15 years). This pass does not cover Zoomobile, parking or any other separately ticketed events.
Replacement fee: $245

Ontario Parks Passes
Ontario Parks has provided free vehicle permits for members of the Kawartha Lakes Public Library so you can enjoy using its network of provincial parks. Use your library card to borrow one of our park passes today! Visit the Park Locator page to find a Provincial Park near you.
