Get outside, and get active! Let us help you incorporate physical activity into your everyday life with items from the Active Living collection.

How to Borrow and Return

Active Living items can be borrowed for one week. Items are renewable as long as there are no other holds. You can place any item from the collection on hold and choose to pick it up at any of our 14 library branches.

You must place a hold in advance. Library staff will contact you when the item becomes available to you.

Items from the Active Living collection do not fit in the book drop, so they must be returned to a branch during opening hours.

Bike locks are available to check out at the Bobcaygeon, Lindsay and Norland branches to use while you're visiting us for the day. These are available on a first come, first serve basis. You cannot place a hold on a bike lock.

Life jackets are available at select locations:

Life jackets come in four sizes:

Infant
Child
Youth
Adult.

You can check a life jacket out for seven days on a first come, first served basis. You cannot place a hold on a life jacket. Please call or visit a branch for more information.

Life jackets are available from Victoria Day weekend (May) until Thanksgiving weekend (October).

Non-residents must complete this form to RENT life jackets.
