Community Art Program

The Community Art Program at the Bobcaygeon Library Branch is a partnership between Kawartha Lakes Public Library and the Kawartha Art Gallery. The program enables artists to exhibit their artwork in the library for up to six months.

Please note: The Community Art Program is temporarily on hold for 2026 while the library hosts a special historical photography exhibit celebrating two important local milestones:

The 150th anniversary of the founding of Bobcaygeon, and
The 25th anniversary of the amalgamation of the City of Kawartha Lakes.

This exhibit will feature historical photographs from around Bobcaygeon and across Kawartha Lakes, highlighting the people, places, and moments that have shaped our community.

We look forward to welcoming artists back to the Community Art Program in the future. When the program resumes, artists can apply through the Kawartha Art Gallery. For more information, please contact art@kawarthagallery.com.
