Book Clubs
Whether you are starting a new book club, want to join an existing club, or are looking for your next great read with friends, our Book Club Sets make it easy! Each set includes multiple copies of a title, a tracking sheet, and a tote bag. Everything you need to run a smooth, enjoyable book discussion. Explore our collection, reserve a set, and get reading together!
Borrow a Book Club Set
Run your own Book Club and borrow a Book Club Set from any Kawartha Lakes Public Library location. Each set includes:
- 8–10 copies of the title (may also include a large print or book-on-CD copy)
- A tracking sheet
- One tote bag
Some Book Club Sets have been generously funded by the Friends of the Lindsay Library.
Book Club Set Basics
Keep these points in mind when reserving a Book Club Set:
- All books within a set are signed out to a single library card.
- Use the tracking sheet to record who has each copy.
- Return all books together to avoid fines.
- Book Club Sets are checked out for six weeks to allow for courier time.
- You may check out up to two Book Club Sets at a time.
How to Reserve a Book Club Set
To reserve a Book Club Set, please:
- Check our printer friendly list for the different Book Club Set titles.
- Next check the availability calendar to see when the set is available.
- Submit the book club reservation form.
Please note: all reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance
