Upcoming PA Day at the Library - January 30, 2026

No School? No Problem! Join Us at Kawartha Lakes Public Library on the January 30, 2026 PA Day.

On the upcoming school PA Day Friday January 30, 2026, library branches across Kawartha Lakes will offer special events for children and families.  Activities vary by branch and are designed to offer school-aged children opportunities to explore, create, and learn while school is out. All events are FREE and require no registration.  Some branches have limited capacity and there may be a short wait, but kids will find plenty to enjoy at every library branch.

Here’s what’s taking place on January 30, 2026:

• Bobcaygeon Branch - Rock Painting Workshop | 10:30am - 1:30pm
• Coboconk Branch - Fuse Bead Bookmarks | 10:30am - 1:30pm
• Fenelon Falls Branch - Wood Monogram Workshop | 10:30am - 1:30pm
• Lindsay Branch - Candy Sushi Workshop | 10:30am - 4:30pm
• Omemee Branch - Birdhouse Workshop | 10:30am - 1:30pm
• Woodville Branch - DIY Tote Bag Workshop | 10:30am - 1:30pm

Families are encouraged to check their local branch for full program details and join us at the library for a fun and enriching PA Day.  Making the library a regular part of your routine helps children build a love of reading, discover new interests, and enjoy quality time with family and caregivers in a welcoming, inspiring space.
