The final chapter of Summer Reading Club is almost here, and what a summer it has been!

From reading adventures and library challenges to water-inspired crafts, special guests and pop-up storytimes, Summer Reading Club 2026 has been all about diving into a summer of reading, playing and discovering.

Kids across Kawartha Lakes have been tracking their reading with their Summer Reading Passports, collecting stickers and rewards, taking on library challenges and discovering new ways to enjoy books. Families have also joined us for Summer Reading Club programs, Storywalks and pop-up storytime throughout the community.

Now that summer is winding down, we want to hear from you!
