Want to learn a new language, brush up on your skills, or introduce your little one to a new language? Your library card gives you free access to Mango Languages, an interactive language-learning platform with courses in more than 70 languages and dialects.

Whether you’re planning a trip, connecting with your heritage, preparing for a new career, or simply curious about another language, Mango makes it easy to learn at your own pace.

Mango Languages – Little Pim introduces children ages 0–6 to basic vocabulary through short, engaging videos.

What is Mango Languages?

Mango Languages is an interactive language-learning program with courses in more than 70 languages and dialects.

Lessons focus on real-world conversations and useful words and phrases. You can practice at your own pace and return to lessons whenever you want.

Mango also includes cultural information to help you understand more than just the words you're learning.

Mango Languages – Little Pim

Learning a language can start at any age! Little Pim is designed for children ages 0–6. It uses short videos to introduce young children to basic words and phrases.

To use Mango Language apps, you will need:

A Kawartha Lakes Public Library card
An internet connection
A computer, tablet, or smartphone

How do I get started?

Visit Mango Languages through our Digital Library.
Select Sign Up or Log In.
Follow the instructions to create or access your Mango account.
Choose a language and start learning!

You can learn at your own pace and come back whenever you're ready for your next lesson.

Inside the App: Helpful Tips

Start with a goal: Think about why you want to learn. Are you getting ready for a trip? Learning to speak with family? Studying for school? Having a goal can help you stay motivated.
