Get ready for Family Day with our free Family Adventure Jar Take Home Pack. Each pack includes everything you need to create your own Family Adventure Jar, a fun way to spark ideas and plan meaningful moments together all year long.

Take Home Packs will be available at all library branches starting Saturday, February 7, while supplies last, leading up to Family Day weekend.

Frost Fest at the Bobcaygeon Branch

Join us in Bobcaygeon for a magical day of winter-themed fun. Enjoy storytime, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and more at the library as we celebrate Frost Fest with the community.

Frost Fest is a town-wide celebration happening throughout Family Day weekend. Bobcaygeon will come alive with free outdoor activities, winter displays, snow sculptures, special sales, and delicious dining from local businesses. Whether you’re strolling through the village, warming up with a hot drink, or enjoying winter adventures with the kids, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to stop by the library while you’re in town!

Saturday, February 14, 2026 | All Branches

Celebrate Family Day with a creative activity the whole family can enjoy. Drop in during regular open hours on Saturday, February 14 to design your own personalized keychain. Choose your colours, add your name or initials, and create a one-of-a-kind accessory to keep or gift.

This workshop will be available at all branches on Saturday in celebration of Family Day, as all locations will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 for the holiday.

Planning a cozy weekend of family reading? Our Grab and Go Bags make borrowing easy. Each bag includes hand-picked picture books, easy readers, and children’s non-fiction, perfect for sharing together. Whether you’re looking for classics, popular themes, or stories that reflect diverse experiences, these ready-to-borrow bundles make family reading simple and fun.

Book Bundles

Want a personalized selection of books for your child? Let us do the choosing. Tell us about your child’s interests, and we’ll prepare a custom bundle ready for pickup at your chosen branch.

How it works:

• Fill out the online form with your child’s reading interests.
• We’ll select books and place them on hold.
• Pick up your bundle at your preferred library location.

Due to demand, not all requests may be available, but we’ll always do our best to match your child’s interests. Please submit your request in advance, as we cannot guarantee that bundles will be ready in time for Family Day weekend.
