Celebrate Canada Reads 2026 — The 25th Anniversary Edition
Celebrate Canada Reads 2026 — The 25th Anniversary Edition!
Every year, Canada Reads brings readers together from coast to coast to discover stories that spark conversation, build understanding, and reflect the many voices of Canada. This year is extra special, 2026 marks the 25th edition of this beloved national book debate!
Canada Reads is a unique literary event where five Canadian personalities each champion a book they believe all Canadians should read. Over four days of lively debate (April 13 – 16), titles are discussed, defended, and voted on. Only one book is crowned as the one that all Canadians should read. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the event, it’s a great opportunity to explore Canadian literature.
