| Hands On Fun |
|
Families are welcome to drop in to any of our 14 branches for fun activities based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Children are encouraged to experiment, create and problem solve at their own pace. Something different each week. This program takes place at all branches during open hours. | Tech Fest |
|
A self-led, experiential learning style program, in which participants trouble shoot and problem solve on their own. This program is offered at several of our branches on various days of the month. Search the calendar for times and locations.

Weekly Craft |
|
Children of various ages can pursue the thrill of creativity while enjoying the satisfaction of construction. All the supplies and instructions for a children's craft are set out and ready for you to use! This program takes place at all branches and generally is available during open hours (supplies may be set away during other program times if space is an issue but can be brought out on request). Scavenger Hunt |

There is lots to discover at Kawartha Lakes Public Library! We even have a Scavenger Hunt at each branch. Come see if you can find all the hidden items. Ask staff for a clue sheet to help you hunt. A different theme of images is hidden at each of our 14 branches and a different hunt takes place each month. This is a great activity to keep children engaged during your library visit.
