Borrow a Book Club Set
Get Started:
Run your own Book Club and borrow a Book Club Set from any Kawartha Lakes Public Library location. A Book Club Set contains:
- eight to ten copies of the title; may also include a large print and/or book-on-cd copy.
- tracking sheet
- one tote bag
Funding for the purchase of some of our Book Club Sets has been kindly provided by the Friends of the Lindsay Library.
Book Club Set Basics
Keep in mind the following when reserving Book Club sets:
- All books within a Book Club Set are signed out to a single Kawartha Lakes Public Library card as a set.
- Use the Book Club Set tracking sheet to keep track of who has each copy.
- Return all books together to avoid late fees.
- Book club sets are checked out for six weeks to allow time for the courier.
- You can check out up to two Book Club Sets at a time.
How to Reserve a Book Club Set
To reserve a Book Club Set, please:
- Check our printer friendly list for the different Book Club Set titles.
- Next check the availability calendar to see when the set is available.
- Submit the book club reservation form.
Please note: all reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance
