Celebrate Ontario Public Library Week with our Library Mystery Challenge

We are celebrating Ontario Public Library Week from October 19 to October 25, with a fun, interactive Library Mystery Challenge for all ages. Patrons are invited to guess which library branch is featured in photos of people reading outside our branches, both online and in person.

How it works:

• In-Branch: Patrons can visit any branch to see the Mystery Board, fill out a ballot, and submit their guesses for a chance to win a Yeti tumbler.
• Online: Each day from October 19-25, a photo will be shared on our social media pages. Participants can comment with their guess for an additional entry in the draw.

All guesses are entered into the draw, even if you don’t get them all right!

The draw will take place on October 31, and the winner will be announced shortly after. One lucky participant will take home a Yeti tumbler, and you don’t need the right answer to win!

For even more Library Love all week long, we will be handing out “I Love My Library” stickers to patrons of all ages. Whether you’re a lifelong visitor or discovering your local branch for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Join our Button-Making Workshop at the Lindsay branch on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Design your own unique buttons using colourful art supplies and a professional button press. To celebrate Ontario Public Library Week, special “I Love My Library” buttons will also be available!
