We don't want the library to be the best kept secret!

The Kawartha Lakes Public Library would love the opportunity to show what we have to offer! We customize our visits and presentations according to your specifications.

Community Events

Do you have an event that you think would be a good fit for the library to attend? Let us know! We have great indoor and outdoor display options and can include stories and crafts too.

Nursing and Retirement Home Visits

If you work for a nursing or retirement home in the City of Kawartha Lakes and think that residents would enjoy regular library visits for book exchanges, we would be happy to arrange these visits.

School Visits

Would you like the library to come visit your classroom, or perhaps you'd like to bring your students to one of our library branches? We can make that happen! We meet student needs and interests: whether you're looking for storytimes, STEM programming, exploration of our digital library, or an overall 'introduction to the library' presentation.

Speakers

Our knowledgeable library staff are able to come to your organizations meeting or event and speak about the library, covering a wide array of topics.
